This is a vintage American quilt made circa 1970’s to 1980’s. It is a traditional Lone Star quilt pattern. This piece has been hand quilted. We believe this quilt was from a kit and if you look closely you can see the blue quilting guidelines. This adds a little pop of dimension in the negative spaces. In our opinion the quilt is very soft, very lightweight, and has a flattering drape. We have added glass blue metallic buttons from the 1950’s as closures. The quilt is in great condition. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
