This is a future heirloom and an original design by Lady Lancaster. This piece was constructed by our dear friend Zoe Dawn. It is what we like to call the Eternal Lone Star Quilt Pattern. This is part of Lady Lancaster's study in neutrals. It is composed of super luxe turn-of-the-century reproduction fabrics. We used brown leather braided buttons as closures. Black fabrics are rare to find in quilts, so if you are looking for a piece with blacks and neutrals, this is a great option! This jacket is a Lady Lancaster 10/10. In our opinion the jacket is very thin, very soft, very lightweight, and has a beautiful and flattering drape. Since the quilt is comprised of all new fabrics, it does not need any TLC. Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Some fabrics can be older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
