This quilt coat is made using an antique American quilt made circa 1930s to 1960. It is a traditional Broken Star quilt pattern. The colors are very rare and we absolutely love it! The quilt has been hand sewn and beautifully hand quilted. For added interest and fun we used a vintage Levi Denim Distressed Trucker Jacket for the collar and sleeves. We added enamel metal buttons as closures. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, is buttery soft, and has an extremely flattering drape. The overall length is a bit longer than our standard Duster pattern. Please note, this is a size Medium, please read measurements below. Please note there is a very faint age spot on the front left pocket. If you have further questions, please direct message us and we are happy to send you a video.

Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Some fabrics can be older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
