This is an antique American quilt made circa 1890s to 1920s. It is a traditional Lone Star quilt pattern with an elevated border. This is a true piece of American heritage. The quilt has been hand sewn and hand quilted which is a labor of love and a lost art. It contains many rare and valuable fabrics such as indigos and homespun ginghams. We used engraved thunderbird metal buttons as closures. It is extremely rare and in excellent condition for its age. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, very soft, and very flattering to wear. Please note there are some minor zig zag mends and age marks that are visible on the inside of the jacket, as well as sun fade throughout. We have tried to capture this in our photos. This is a Lady Lancaster 10/10. This is a size Medium, please read measurements below. If you have further questions please direct message us and we are happy to send you a video.

Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Some fabrics can be older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
