This is an antique American quilt made circa 1890s to 1920s. It is a traditional Broken Star quilt pattern made in an extremely rare colorway. The pink and cheddar fabrics are rarely seen together, and we love it! The orange fabric during this era was always referred to as cheddar. It is museum-worthy for its meticulous hand sewing and hand quilting. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, and made with very luxe soft cotton. We used gold and ivory plastic mid-century buttons. It is a Lady Lancaster 10/10. The quilt is in excellent condition for its age. Please note, there is a minor water mark on the right underarm. If you have further questions please direct message us and we are happy to send you a video.

  • Please reference measurements for a specific fit.
  • One Size Fits Most - Model is 5’4 and approximately 125lbs
  • Two Pockets

Measurements

50” top of the back of neck to the bottom of the hem (overall length)

23” laying flat, armpit to armpit, buttoned jacket

23” shoulder seam to bottom of arm, uncuffed

23” slits

6 buttons down the front

Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Some fabrics can be older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
