This is an antique American quilt made circa 1890s to 1920s. It is a traditional Sunshine and Shadows Log Cabin quilt pattern. The quilt has been hand sewn and hand quilted, which is a labor of love and a lost art. We absolutely love the paisley backing fabric which can best be appreciated when the sleeves are rolled. This piece is perfect for heritage or western styling. This quilt is way loftier and bulkier than most of our quilts that we work worth. This quilt was made for warmth and is meant for colder weather and calls for an added fur! If you would like to add a fur, please reach out after purchasing. For closures we used faux leather buttons. This is a size Medium but fits like a small due to its loftiness, please read size measurements before purchasing. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
