This is a contemporary American quilt top. It is an Elevated Broken Star quilt pattern. To complete the quilt, we backed the top with blue and lavender calico fabric. This adds great depth and character to the design. You will want to cuff the sleeves to show this off. For closures, we used beaded buttons from India. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, and has a great drape. The jacket is very flattering to wear. We think this piece looks great with a fur, and have photographed one of our favorite options. Please reach out after purchasing if you would like to add a fur. Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Some fabrics can be older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
