This piece is a one-of-a-kind Lady Lancaster creation. The quilt was made using chenille curtains from a little girl’s room from the 1970s. We backed the chenille with very expensive Liberty London fabric from the Tawny Lawn collection. For closures we added three huge heart buttons from the 80’s from Lady Lancaster's button archive. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, super super soft, and feels like a giant cloud hug. This piece has a beautiful drape. Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Some fabrics can be older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
