This is a vintage American quilt made circa 1970s to 1980s. It is a traditional Lone Star quilt pattern. The quilt has been hand quilted and hand sewn, which is a labor of love and a lost art! In our opinion, the quilt is thin, lightweight, soft, and has a little loft(puffiness). We added very substantial pearl and rhinestone buttons as closures. This is a Lady Lancaster 10/10. Please note, this quilt most likely contains cotton batting, which is very common for quilts from this era. We believe that this jacket would look epic with a fur! Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Some fabrics can be older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
