This is an antique American quilt made circa 1930s to 1950s. It is a traditional Lone Star quilt pattern. It seems that the top was completed and then machine quilted at a much later date. For an extra pop of fun, the sleeves and collar are from a vintage Denim Levi Trucker jacket. We love the blue and lavender colorway and were over the moon when we found this quilt! For closures we used heart and rhinestone buttons. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, very soft, and has a great drape. This piece is very comfortable to wear! Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Some fabrics can be older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
