This is an antique American quilt made circa 1920s to 1940s. It is a traditional Log Cabin quilt pattern. The quilt has been hand quilted and hand sewn, which is a labor of love and a lost art. In our opinion, the quilt has a little loft(puffiness), is thin, lightweight, and has a beautiful drape. For closures we used faux buffalo nickel buttons. To keep things interesting we used a vintage Levi trucker jacket for the collar and sleeves. Please note there is some sun fading on the inside of the jacket. Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Some fabrics can be older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
