This is an antique American quilt top made circa 1890s to 1920. It is a traditional Lone Star quilt pattern. To complete the quilt, we added turn-of-the-century reproduction fabric. The quilt top has been beautifully hand sewn and the quilt was quilted on a long arm. The sleeves and collar are from a vintage Levi jean jacket. For closures we used faux silver and turquoise concho buttons. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, and has a beautiful and super floppy drape. Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Some fabrics can be older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
