This is an antique American quilt made circa 1930s to 1940s. It is a traditional Wedding Ring quilt pattern. The maker was a master. It is meticulously hand quilted and hand sewn. The quilt is in excellent condition for its age and is loaded with antique novelty fabrics. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight with little to no loft, soft, and has an excellent drape. We added faux pearl and gold buttons as closures. The ground fabric of the quilt is not white, and was never intended to be, it is a light almond color. The maker backed the quilt (inside of jacket) with a cotton muslin fabric. If you have further questions please direct message us and we are happy to send you a video.
