This is an American antique quilt top made circa 1890s to 1920s. It is a traditional Lone Star Quilt Pattern. We backed this quilt using reproduction antique indigo fabric. We used vintage gold buttons as closures in keeping with the overall aesthetic. In our opinion, the quilt is very thin, very lightweight, and has a great drape. This is a Lady Lancaster 10/10. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
