This is a Lady Lancaster original. This quilt is a combination of midcentury bedspread or drapery fabric that was created for boys bedrooms and premium reproduction indigo cotton. The quilt is not hand sewn but was completed by Zoe Dawn and her long arm. It is important to note the textile on the outside of the jacket has a grainy feel to it compared to the premium cotton on the inside of the jacket. The inside is very soft and comfortable to wear. For closures there are faux coral concho buttons that give the jacket an edgy western feel! If you're looking to really make a statement, you can combine this jacket with the matching vest to make a two piece suit. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, and has a flattering drape. Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
