This is an antique American quilt made circa 1920s to 1950s. It is a variation of the Calico Snowball quilt pattern. The quilt has been hand quilted, which is a labor of love and a lost art. This piece is made of wools and felts and will keep you warm! If you have any sensitivity to wool or felt please do not purchase this item. We used bronze metal buttons as closures. There is no loft(puffiness), however, the fabrics are heavier and this should be considered more of a wintery jacket. We believe that this jacket would look epic with a fur and we have photographed one of our favorite options! If you would like to see some more options, please reach out after purchasing! This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
