This is an American antique quilt made circa 1930s to 1940s. It is a traditional and stunningly rare Broken Star quilt pattern. This was made by a master. It is exceptional for its crisp points, tiny pieces, dense hand quilting, and museum-worthy hand sewing. We love the pink backing fabric which can be appreciated on the inside of the jacket. We have used vintage buttons from the midcentury as closures. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, and made with a beautifully soft cotton. There are a few zig zag mends throughout and some subtle tanning throughout which we have photographed for your convenience. This is a Lady Lancaster 10/10. To complete the jacket with used sleeves and a collar from a vintage Levi jacket. If you have further questions please direct message us and we are happy to send you a video.
