This is a vintage American quilt made circa 1960's. This is an Applique quilt pattern. This is also called a Sampler quilt, as there are multiple different quilt blocking styles represented in this piece. This quilt has been beautifully hand appliqued and hand quilted. For closures we have added 5 black carved wooden buttons as closures down the front. During Lady Lancaster's escapades this fall she found these buttons in Notting Hill, London from an legendary antique button dealer who procured them from Amsterdam. In our opinion this piece is soft, thin, light weight, and has a flattering drape. Overall, this quilt is in excellent condition. This piece is priced without fur, however if you've been looking to add a fur color this is a great candidate!
