This is an American antique quilt made circa 1900-1920's. It is an elevated Lone Star quilt pattern with satellites. This piece is exquisite for its meticulous hand sewing, hand quilting, and crisp points. We love the black and white floral backing fabric(inside of jacket) that the maker chose! Their selection of ground fabric is also worth noting! The light blue calico fabric around the star is both beautiful and a very rare treat to have in this excellent of condition. This piece is a quintessential Lancaster County, PA quilt and came from a Mennonite estate sale in Lancaster. In our opinion this jacket is super soft, thin, light weight, and does have some loft (batting or puffiness). For closures we added six wooden painted buttons down the front. This jacket is priced without a fur, however, if you have been wanting one of our pieces with a fur, this is a great option. We have added a few photos and one video at the end of this listing with a blue fur as a suggestion. Please DM us with any questions regarding adding a detachable fur collar to this jacket.
