Disclaimer: Traffic Stopper!!! If you have friends who are prone to jealousy, do NOT wear this in their presence. This is an Antique American quilt made circa 1930's-1950's. This is a traditional Lone Star Quilt pattern. It is a technical show off!! It is exceptional for its crisp points and tiny pieces, but especially for its off the charts museum-worthy hand quilting. We rarely see this level of quilting, even in museums. The maker quilted at a super impressive 16 stitches per inch. This craftmanship can best be seen throughout the quilt, but especially on the front panels of the jacket where the wreaths are on full display. We added 4 textural brass cone shaped buttons. They are very substantial and on the heavy side, but they glisten when the light hits them and they are the perfect jewelry for your jacket. As an added bonus this jacket comes with a detachable brown genuine fur. In our opinion this piece is soft, thin, light weight, and has a very flattering drape. This is a Lady Lancaster 10/10.
