This is an authentic, antique American quilt made circa the 1930s-1940s. It is a traditional Grandma's Garden Quilt pattern. This piece is hand-quilted and hand-sewn, which is a labor of love and a dying art. We added a vintage Levi Truckers jacket for sleeves, and there is a hand-painted dragonfly on the cuff of one of the sleeves. Please see the photo in the listing for more details. There are a few zig-zag mends that are camouflaged throughout. In our opinion, this quilt is thin and lightweight with a great drape. It is a very flattering piece to wear and a Lady Lancaster 10/10.
