This an American antique quilt made circa 1890’s-1920’s. It is a Floral Appliqué quilt pattern. This is a very rare and special quilt pattern! It is hand quilted and hand appliquéd. We have used a large wooden square button from the mid century as a closure. There is an excessive amount of tanning and browning throughout this quilt, much more so than you typically find in our quilts. In our opinion the quilt is very soft, very thin and very lightweight with a great drape.

We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
