This is a vintage American quilt made circa 1960s to 1970s. It is a traditional Pinwheel quilt pattern. The quilt has been hand sewn and meticulously hand quilted. We love the contrasting blue backing fabric, inside of jacket, which can best be appreciated when the sleeves are cuffed. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, has a little loft, and is very soft. It feels like wearing a giant cloud hug. Overall, the quilt is in great condition for its age. The Blankie style is our most oversized one size fits most jacket. If you are tiny or petite please understand this is a very large oversized jacket. Lady Lancaster, who is modeling this jacket is a US size 2-4 and 5'4" in height for perspective. This piece legitimately fits a US size 0-16 comfortably. Lady Lancaster designed this style to be a literal Blankie with arms. Perfect layering piece for after the beach or pool or a pre ski and campfire.
