This is a vintage American quilt made circa 1980s or 1990s. This is a traditional Log Cabin quilt pattern. It is hand quilted. In our opinion, the quilt is thin, super soft, lightweight, and has medium loft (puffiness). This piece feels like a giant cloud hug and like wearing your favorite cozy blankie with arms. This is a great Blankie! We love that the maker backed the quilt(inside of the jacket) with a coordinating floral fabric. You will want to cuff the sleeves to show this off. The Blankie style is our most oversized one size fits most jacket. If you are tiny or petite please understand this is a very large oversized jacket. Lady Lancaster, who is modeling this jacket is a US size 0-4 and 5'4" in height for perspective. This piece legitimately fits a US size 0-16 comfortably. Lady Lancaster designed this style to be a literal Blankie with arms. Perfect layering piece for after the beach or pool or a pre ski and campfire.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
