This is a vintage American quilt made circa 1970s to 1980s. It is a traditional Log Cabin quilt pattern, however, it is made with unorthodox fabric and colors. The piece has been hand quilted. We love that the maker backed the quilt (inside of the jacket) with a very subtle floral fabric that looks beautiful when the sleeves are cuffed. In our opinion, the jacket is very thin, lightweight, super soft, and has a beautiful drape. There is a little loft (puffiness). Please note: There are a few age marks throughout. The Blankie style is our most oversized one size fits most jacket. If you are tiny or petite please understand this is a very large oversized jacket. Lady Lancaster, who is modeling this jacket is a US size 0-4 and 5'4" in height for perspective. This piece legitimately fits a US size 0-16 comfortably. Lady Lancaster designed this style to be a literal Blankie with arms. Perfect layering piece for after the beach or pool or a pre ski and campfire.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
