This is an American antique quilt, made circa 1940's to 1950's. It is traditional Postage Stamp quilt pattern. This piece is hand knotted using pink embroidery thread adding little pops of texture throughout the quilt. The postage stamps in this quilt are tinier than normal measuring 1"x1". The quilt is backed with a very soft, luxe, pink fabric which can best be seen when the cuffs are rolled. If you are looking for a fashionable comfy security blanket, this is your ticket. Of all the Blankies we ever had this quilt is the most lofty(puffy), soft, light weight and cloud-like. If you have further questions please direct message us and we are happy to send you a video.
The Blankie style is our most oversized one size fits most jacket. If you are tiny or petite please understand this is a very large oversized jacket. Lady Lancaster, who is modeling this jacket is a US size 0-4 and 5'4" in height for perspective. This piece legitimately fits a US size 0-16 comfortably. Lady Lancaster designed this style to be a literal Blankie with arms. Perfect layering piece for after the beach or pool or a pre ski and campfire.
- This jacket has clear snaps that disappear into the fabric at the bottom of the shawl collar to help the lapel drape nicely.
- This features two very deep, generous pockets.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
