This is an American antique quilt, made circa 1960's . It is a variation on the traditional Honey Comb Quilt Pattern. It is both hand quilted and hand sewn. It is important to note that the backing fabric is a pale yellow and we believe it to be a poly-cotton blend. There is some mild piling on the inside of the jacket. In our opinion the quilt is extremely thin with very little to no batting, and very soft with an excellent drape. There is one noticeable mark above the pocket that we could not lift in our washing process. There is a photo at the end of the listing that details this for your convenience. If you have further questions please direct message us and we are happy to send you a video.
The Blankie style is our most oversized one size fits most jacket. If you are tiny or petite please understand this is a very large oversized jacket. Lady Lancaster, who is modeling this jacket is a US size 0-4 and 5'4" in height for perspective. This piece legitimately fits a US size 0-16 comfortably. Lady Lancaster designed this style to be a literal Blankie with arms. Perfect layering piece for after the beach or pool or a pre ski and campfire.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
