This is a vintage American quilt. It was made circa 1970's - 1980's. It is an applique quilt. All appliques are hand embroidered with top stitching around the perimeter of each individual heart. We love the compliment of the hand quilting pattern. The hand quilting is also in the shape of hearts and we have tried to show you this in some of the photos. This quilt has not seen a lot of prelove, while it is thin and lightweight it holds its shape. Please note: There is an area with yellow color bleed on one of the arms around the elbow. This jacket has two clear snaps that disappear into the fabric at the bottom of the shawl collar to help the lapel drape nicely.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
