This is an Antique American quilt made circa 1940's-1960's. It is a Kite Star quilt pattern also known as the Arkansas Kite quilt pattern. This piece is exceptional for its masterful hand quilting, and meticulous hand sewing. We love the variety of fabrics used in this piece, it is so hard to find rainbow quilts in primary colors and we are thrilled to have found this rainbow beauty! The maker backed this quilt(inside of jacket) with a pop of color. We encourage you to cuff the sleeves or wear this piece upside down to show it off. In our opinion this piece is soft, thin, light weight with a little loft(puffiness), and has an excellent drape. This quilt is in great condition.
