This is an Antique American quilt made circa 1930's-1940's. It is a traditional Grandmother's Fan quilt pattern. It has been meticulously hand sewn and beautifully hand quilted. It is overflowing with novelty fabrics from its era. The maker backed this quilt(inside of jacket) with a very cheery light blue fabric. This can best be appreciated when the cuffs are rolled or the jacket is worn upside down. You can really see the impeccable white thread master quilting stiches when they are contrasted against the blue fabric. In our opinion, this piece is super soft, thin, light weight with little to no loft(puffiness), and has a great drape. This is a 10/10! Overall, the quilt is in excellent condition.
