This is an Antique American quilt made circa 1890's-1920's. It is a traditional Rolling Stone or Nest and Fledging quilt pattern. This quilt was made by a master! It is museum-worthy for its tiny and crisp points, meticulous hand sewing, and dense hand quilting. Indigo quilts such as this, are very rare and hard to find. It was our privilege to work with this beauty and to give it a second life. In our opinion, this piece is soft, thin, medium weight, with a little loft(puffiness). It has an excellent drape. This jacket is a true fashion multitasker, it is a perfect neutral and will go with just about anything in your closet. The quilt is in excellent condition. If you have further questions, please direct message us and we are happy to send you a video.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
