This is an Antique American quilt made circa 1930's-1940's. It is a traditional Grandma's Garden quilt pattern. This piece is exquisite for its beautiful hand quilting and hand sewing. We love the light purple backing fabric(inside of jacket) that the maker chose. This can best be appreciated when the cuffs are rolled or the jacket is worn upside down. Please note that there are a few zig zag mends. We have added a photo at the end of the listing that shows this. In our opinion this quilt is super soft, thin, light weight, and has a great drape! Despite the mends this piece is perfect in everyway and is a Lady Lancaster 10/10. It looks good with just about everything in your closet!
