This is an Antique American quilt made circa 1890's-1920's. It is a traditional Lily Quilt pattern, also referred to as Des Moines. This piece has been beautifully hand quilted and hand sewn. The quilt is overflowing with many rare and sought after antique indigo fabrics. The backing fabric appears to have color bleed, but in fact it is faded pink floral calico fabric. This quilt is buttery soft! In our opinion, this jacket is thin, very light weight, contains little to no loft, and has an excellent drape. There is zig zag mend that blends into the quilt.
