This is an American Antique quilt made circa 1940s - 1960s. We believe this was made by a rogue because we were unable to identify this exact quilt pattern in the quilt encyclopedia. However, it is in the Anvil and Swallow quilt pattern family. We love this quilt because of it’s nod to the south west, we also love the play on positive and negative space. We love the chambray blue fabric on the back of the quilt (inside the jacket). This jacket is a dream to wear, it is luxe, soft, thin, lightweight with a little loft and a great drape.
- The shawl collar allows for several different style options. This jacket is meant to be worn right side up or upside down.
- This jacket has two clear snaps that disappear into the fabric at the bottom of the shawl collar to help the lapel drape nicely.
- The Aunt Ethel has slouchy shoulders and a generous fit, keeping in line with its bohemian roots.
