This jacket is made from an antique American quilt top that was made circa 1930s to 1960s. It is a traditional Four Patch quilt pattern. The maker beautifully hand sewed each tiny block in the top! To complete the orphaned quilt top we backed it with blue and ikat fabric. This jacket will look great worn inside out and upside down. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, buttery soft fabric, and has an excellent and super floppy drape. - The shawl collar allows for several different style options. This jacket is meant to be worn right side up or upside down.
- This jacket has two clear snaps that disappear into the fabric at the bottom of the shawl collar to help the lapel drape nicely.

Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Some fabrics can be older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
