This quilt jacket is made with an American antique quilt top. It is a traditional Bible Tulip quilt pattern. To complete the quilt we backed the top with whimsical butterfly and hot air balloon toile fabric. It is very soft and luxe cotton. You will want to cuff the sleeves or wear this piece inside out to show off this fabric. The quilt top is museum-worthy for its rare quilt pattern and color combination. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, and has a very floppy drape. Please note, there are a few zig zag mends that blend into the quilt. - The shawl collar allows for several different style options. This jacket is meant to be worn right side up or upside down.
- This jacket has two clear snaps that disappear into the fabric at the bottom of the shawl collar to help the lapel drape nicely.

Please note that many of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Some of our fabrics are older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
