This is a contemporary American quilt and a future heirloom. It is a traditional Lone Star quilt pattern. This piece is a work horse and a show pony! You don’t have to handle this piece with great care and it is completely washable. The quilt is backed(inside of jacket) with polka dot fabric. You will want to cuff the sleeves to show this off! In our opinion, the jacket is thin and has a little loft (puffiness). Since this piece is new it has not seen any pre-love and needs a little wear to break it in! This piece will look great with everything in your closet. If you like to wear your Ethels inside out and upside down, this is a great option for you! - The shawl collar allows for several different style options. This jacket is meant to be worn right side up or upside down.
- This jacket has two clear snaps that disappear into the fabric at the bottom of the shawl collar to help the lapel drape nicely.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
