This is an American antique quilt top made circa 1890s to 1920s. It is a traditional Irish Chain quilt pattern. To complete the quilt, we backed the orphaned quilt top with a striped turn of the century reproduction fabric. The quilt top was hand sewn and is overflowing with rare and valuable indigo fabric. This piece is a classic and very special. The jacket is completely reversible, it looks great worn inside out and upside down. The new backing fabric adds new life and durability to the antique quilt top. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, and has a good drape! It is a Lady Lancaster 10/10.
