This is an American antique quilt top made circa 1890s to 1920s. To complete the quilt we backed this orphaned quilt top with novelty navy American eagle fabric. This is a traditional Pinwheel quilt pattern. The quilt top is hand sewn. The quilt top acts as a time capsule of turn of the century fabrics. It is loaded with rare indigo fabrics and men's shirt scraps. This piece is a workhorse and a show horse, however, we would encourage care when taking care of the outside of the jacket, antique quilt top. The jacket looks great worn inside out and upside down. This is a Lady Lancaster 10/10. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, soft, and has a beautiful drape.
