This will be the fireworks at your 4th of July party! This is a vintage American quilt top that Lady Lancaster held in her archives until she found the most perfect backing fabric. It is a traditional Mill and Stars quilt pattern, however, it was made with very non-traditional fabrics and colors. We love how the maker used the striped fabric. It adds a ton of dimension and interest. We have not seen another quilt like this, and it reads a Spider Web or Maze quilt pattern. The quilt top that has been hand sewn. To finish the quilt, we backed it with red white and blue floral fabric. This is a Lady Lancaster 10/10!!! In our opinion, it is very thin, very lightweight, and very soft. This piece looks amazing worn inside out and upside down. It is in excellent condition and can withstand heavy wear. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
