This is a contemporary quilt and future heirloom. It is an original design by Lady Lancaster from her layered neutral collection. We like to call this the Eternal Lone Star quilt pattern. It is both a work horse and a show horse, meaning you don’t need to handle this jacket with kid gloves. The quilt is backed (inside of jacket) with novelty pictorial woodland fabric, making the jacket completely reversible. It looks great worn inside out and upside down. In our opinion, the jacket is thin and lightweight. The jacket does have a little stiffness since it has not seen any pre-love. It will get better with each and every wear. - The shawl collar allows for several different style options. This jacket is meant to be worn right side up or upside down.
- This jacket has two clear snaps that disappear into the fabric at the bottom of the shawl collar to help the lapel drape nicely.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
