This is an American antique quilt top made circa 1890s to 1920s. It is a traditional Postage Stamp quilt pattern. The quilt top has been meticulously hand sewn. It contains men’s shirt scraps and is overflowing with rare and valuable indigo fabrics. To complete the quilt we backed the top with a contrasting calico beige fabric that gives this a heritage aesthetic. It will go with everything in your closet. Add your favorite pair of boots and it can be styled western in an instant. This is a Lady Lancaster 10/10. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, soft, lightweight, and has a perfect drape. This is a show horse and a work horse. It is a very very sturdy quilt for its age. If you have further questions, please direct message us and we are happy to send you a video.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
