This is a vintage American quilt made circa 1930s to 1960s. It is a traditional Lone Star quilt pattern. The quilt has been really beautifully hand quilted and hand sewn, which is a labor or love and a lost art. We love the contrasting blue backing fabric which can best be appreciated when the jacket is worn inside out or upside down, or the sleeves are cuffed. In our opinion, the jacket is very thin, very lightweight, very soft , floppy, and has a great drape. This piece is fun to style and you will make friends when wearing it!
