This is an antique American quilt made circa 1880s to 1910. It is a traditional Tens of Armageddon quilt pattern. This quilt was made by an absolute master. The quilting is extremely dense and nothing short of museum quality. It is a Lady Lancaster 10/10. We are the first one to wash this piece. It is overflowing with rare and value antique indigo fabric. We love the Carmel contrasting backing fabric on the inside of the jacket making it completely reversible with endless styling options. We found one subtle age mark on the inside of the jacket and we have photographed for your convenience. In our opinion, the jacket is thin and soft, however, due to the dense amount of hand quilting it does have a little weight and stiffness to it. The quilt is in excellent condition for its age.
