This is an American antique quilt circa 1930s to 1940s. It is a traditional traditional Vent Nine Patch or Improved Nine Patch quilt pattern. This quilt contains rare novelty and juvenile fabrics from its era. It has been so beautifully hand sewn and beautifully hand quilted. The maker was a master. In our opinion, the jacket is super thin, lightweight, soft, and a dream to wear. It has an excellent drape. Please note: There is subtle yellowing and tanning throughout, it is most noticeable on the inside of the jacket. There are also a few zig zag mends that we have photographed. - The shawl collar allows for several different style options. This jacket is meant to be worn right side up or upside down.
- This jacket has two clear snaps that disappear into the fabric at the bottom of the shawl collar to help the lapel drape nicely.

This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
