This is an Antique American quilt made circa 1930s to 1940s. It is a traditional Wedding Ring quilt pattern. The quilt has been beautifully hand quilted and hand sewn. If you look closely you can see some of the maker's original quilting guidelines. The maker backed(inside of jacket) the quilt with a cotton muslin fabric. In our opinion, the jacket is very thin, very lightweight, very soft, has a buttery and flattering drape. The ground color of the quilt is not white and it was never intended to be, but is an ivory or cream color. Overall, this quilt is in excellent condition for its age.
