This is an antique American quilt made circa 1930s to 1960s. It is a traditional Twelve Triangles or Shadow Boxes quilt pattern. The quilt has been hand quilted and hand sewn which is a labor of love and a lost art. In our opinion, the jacket is very thin, very lightweight, and has an extremely floppy drape. This piece is very comfortable to wear. We love a two-tone piece, this will be extra fun to style for a cool summer night. If you are familiar with the fit of our jackets, even though this is our Standard Ethel pattern, it feels as though it fits larger. - The shawl collar allows for several different style options. This jacket is meant to be worn right side up or upside down.
- This jacket has two clear snaps that disappear into the fabric at the bottom of the shawl collar to help the lapel drape nicely.

This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
