This is an antique American quilt made circa 1930s to 1960s. It is a traditional Hummingbird or Periwinkle quilt pattern. The quilt has been beautifully hand quilted and hand sewn. The backing fabric and ground fabric is a cotton muslin. It is not white and was never intended to be white, it is a cream or light ivory colored fabric. This jacket will look great with everything in your closet. In our opinion, the piece is thin, soft, lightweight with very little loft, and has a buttery soft drape. Please note, there are a few spots of color bleed that we have tried to capture in the photographs. This piece has a a very shabby chic vibe and is perfect for all our boho girlies!
