This is an antique American quilt made circa 1930's-1950's. It is a traditional Irish Chain quilt pattern. This piece has been beautifully hand quilted and hand sewn, the maker was clearly talented. The maker backed the quilt in a coordinating chambray fabric. You will want to cuff your sleeves to show this off. This jacket is an absolute baby doll! Do you have a gender reveal party? This would be the talk of the day! In our opinion the quilt is very soft, thin, light weight with a little loft, and has an excellent drape. Please note, there is sun bleaching throughout, it is more prevalent on the arms. This is a Lady Lancaster 10/10.
