This is an American antique quilt made circa 1890’s to 1920’s. It is the traditional Friendship Quilt Box quilt pattern. This quilt was made by an absolute master! It is meticulously and densely hand quilted and hand sewn. In our opinion the quilt is very thin, very lightweight, very soft, and has a little loft (puffiness). We love how this quilt looks against a black palette, however it also looks fantastic with denim. If you're looking to dress on theme this holiday season, this is a great option for you! The maker backed this quilt with a cotton muslin fabric. Please note you can see the maker's original quilting lines if you look closely.
